Refund Policy

14-Day Free Trial
Every MenuLingo account starts with a 14-day free trial. No credit card is required to begin your trial. If you choose not to continue, your account simply expires at the end of the trial period — you will never be charged without explicitly selecting a paid plan.
Monthly Plans
Monthly plans are billed on a recurring monthly basis. You may cancel your monthly subscription at any time. When you cancel:
- Your plan remains active until the end of the current billing period.
- No further charges will be applied after cancellation.
- We do not offer refunds for partial months on monthly plans.
- Your data is retained for 90 days after cancellation, allowing you to reactivate at any time.
Annual Plans
Annual plans are billed as a single payment for 12 months. If you cancel an annual plan:
- Within 14 days of purchase: You are entitled to a full refund. Contact us at support@menulingo.io.
- After 14 days: No refund is issued. Your plan remains active until the end of the 12-month term and you retain full access to all features for the remainder of your paid period.
- Your plan remains active until the end of the current billing period, regardless of refund status.
Plan Changes
You may upgrade or downgrade your plan at any time from your billing dashboard.
- Upgrades take effect immediately. You are charged a prorated amount for the remainder of your current billing period.
- Downgrades take effect at the start of your next billing period. You retain access to your current tier's features until then. If your usage exceeds the new tier's limits, you will be prompted to reduce usage before the downgrade takes effect.
Pausing Your Subscription
If you need a temporary break (e.g. seasonal closure), you can pause your subscription from the billing dashboard. While paused:
- No charges are applied.
- Your menu pages are taken offline (QR codes show a “temporarily unavailable” message).
- All your data, translations, and QR codes are preserved.
- You can resume at any time — your menus go live again instantly.
Service Issues
If you experience a significant service disruption that prevents you from using MenuLingo for an extended period, please contact us. We assess service-related refund requests on a case-by-case basis and are committed to fair resolution.
